LuvPlant was born from a simple idea: what if taking care of plants could feel less like a chore and more like maintaining a friendship?
Our Story
It started in 2025 when our founder, Sarah, killed her seventh succulent. Yes, seventh. Even the "impossible to kill" ones met their fate on her windowsill.
The problem wasn't that Sarah didn't care - she cared deeply. She just couldn't remember when she last watered them, and generic plant apps with their clinical reminders felt lifeless and easy to ignore.
Then one day, while apologizing (again) to a wilting peace lily, she thought: "What if my plants could actually tell me when they need something? And what if they had personalities that made me want to listen?"
That's when LuvPlant was born. We built a service where your Snake Plant "Brad" can text you with his signature sarcasm when he's thirsty, or your dramatic Boston Fern "Ferguson" can send you an urgent plea for humidity.
Today, over 50,000 plant parents use LuvPlant to keep their green friends happy. And Sarah? She now has 23 thriving plants and hasn't committed houseplant homicide in over a year.
